Head of Operations
Raul oversees all activities relating to operations at PEAK ENERGY. This includes system design optimization, equipment selection, project management, permitting, EPC best practices and Asset Management.​

Prior to joining PEAK ENERGY, Raul spent 4 years at Macquarie Capital as Director of Portfolio for its investments in Japan and other key markets in Asia.​

He oversaw all development and operations of over 250 MWp in Japan while also providing key investment inputs for a portfolio of another 500 MW in the region.

Raul also previously worked at an IPP, Potentia Renewables, in North America as Senior Vice President for Asset Development and Operations for their C&I and utility scale portfolios in the region.​

Raul has a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Management) from Jaume I University, Spain, and has a second master’s degree in Renewable Energy from his alma mater.  

Hideki Yahata

Head of Finance
Hideki leads financing activities as well as commercial aspects of investments and project execution of Peak Energy in Japan.​

Prior to joining PEAK ENERGY, Hideki spent 3 1/2 years at KPMG Japan as a Director of Deal Advisory in Energy and Infrastructure sector.​

He also has 20+ years of experience in equity investments and divestments in renewable energy projects as well as numerous project finance transactions at Macquarie Capital and Mizuho Bank. ​Hideki has a bachelor's degree in economics from Tokyo University.

Jiyun

Director of Projects
Jiyun oversees activities relating to development at PEAK ENERGY in South Korea. This includes the development of renewables assets such as PV Solar and Onshore Wind while also execution of PPA contracts for the pipeline.​

Prior to joining PEAK ENERGY, Jiyun spent 10 years at Hanwha as Manager for developing renewable assets in South Korea.​

He oversaw all development, construction and operation of over 230MWp of renewable assets in South Korea.

Jiyun also previously worked at Macquarie Capital Korea as Senior Development Manager for their development and investment activities in South Korea

Jiyun has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Inha University, South Korea.
