Gavin Adda

Chief Executive Officer
Gavin Adda is the CEO of Peak Energy with responsibility for renewable energy across Asia Pacific. PeakEnergy is the renewable energy developer for Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners in Asia with a focus onsolar, on-shore wind and battery infrastructure and includes some of the largest projects in Korea andJapan.

Previously, he was CEO of TotalEnergies Renewables Utility Scale (Asia) and Distributed Generation(Asia) which was formed when he sold his start-up to TotalEnergies. It subsequently became the largestB2B-focused renewable player in the region before being merged with ENEOS to form a USD 2 Bn joint venture.

Based out of Singapore, Gavin is also a Board Director of Maxeon Solar Technologies (NASDAQ:MAXN),a Board Director of Lindström Group and Co-Chair of the Sustainability Committee at the EuropeanChamber of Commerce.

Prior to TotalEnergies, Gavin founded several start-ups in the renewable sector. This includes CleantechSolar one of the largest developers in India, now partly-owned by Shell and Keppel.

At REC Solar, one of the largest, non-Chinese solar panel manufacturers, he ran several departmentsand launched a corporate turn-around, re-focusing the company on the DG sector. He sold the companyto ChemChina for USD 640m (the largest solar M&A deal in ’15).

Previously, he had various management roles in Samsung Group. This included developing, constructingand financing a USD 1 Bn portfolio of utility-scale solar projects and launching a JV with one of the largest, independent solar developers in the US.

Gavin has an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s Degree from Cambridge University.

Eiji Sato

Japan Country Head
Eiji Sato   Eiji brings more than 10 years of experience in the  Power Industry. He is overseeing all activities relating to operations for At Peak Energy throughout Japan. Prior to joining Peak Energy, Eiji was the UPP Business Development Head of TotalEnergies - Renewables, Japan Director of Business Development, SolarProjects at Solariant Capital, and Representative Director at Trina Solar JapanEnergy.

Eiji has been involved with project development, engineeringand construction of PV projects. To date, he has completed 46 solar projects inJapan. Prior to Trina Solar Japan Energy, he was the Representative Director ofthe Japan Branch of WSP (former Persons Brinckerhoff, USA Company) and was involved in engineering service and consulting of railway projects in Vietnam,India and nuclear power plant projects in the United Kingdom.  Eiji has held various management positions including Country Manager at a Industrial Filtration Business Unit of MAHLE (Germany Company). He graduated from Tokai University, Japan with a degree in Civil (Architecture) Engineering. Eiji has extensiveoverseas experience in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, German, and Thailand. 

Yoshihiko Kusuda

Finance Director
Yoshihiko Kusuda has over 30 years of experience in renewable energy, commercial real estate, and structured finance at major financial institutions. He currently leads project finance related activities for Peak Energy Japan. Yoshihiko provides over 10 years' experience in the development and finance of renewable energy projects, including the development of over 30 large-scale PV facilities.

Major achievements include, structuring the first Japanese CMBS transaction backed with YK-TK (current GK-TK) / Real-estate Trust / Limited-recourse loan structure in 1999, and establishing Libertus Housing Loan, a subsidiary of Lehman Brothers specializing in mortgage loans for investment property. After establishing Liberty, Yoshihiko acted as its Representative Director.

Yoshihiko holds a Bachelor of Economics and Juris Doctor from Waseda University and an MBA and Mastère Spécialisé from HEC, France.

Jinsung Myung

General Manager
Jin is the General Manager of Peak Energy Korea and he has more than 25 years of professional experience in the energy sector including gas, power, and renewables.

Jin previously served as Country Head of Korea at CGN Korea Holdings (formerly MPC Korea) where he grew the company to 2.2GW capacity (gas-fired, fuel cell, biomass, solar, direct import of gas, etc.) from scratch through greenfield projects and acquisition projects.

Prior to CGN Korea Holdings, he worked at Mirant Corp (Senior Manager, Business Development) in Hong Kong and Enron Corp (Associate & Manager) in Houston, Texas.  

While working at Enron Corp, Jin was a founding member of SK-Enron (currently SK E&S), a joint venture between Enron Corp and SK Group.Jin received a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Korea University.
